Amy’s Guacamole

Out of all the things I love to feed people, my guacamole recipe is easily the most requested by others. I’ve brought this to just about every kind of party you could imagine, and it never lasts very long at any of them! Bursting with fresh flavors and a creamy texture, this will be the star of any gathering.

Ingredients

6 ripe Haas avocados
1/2 red onion, finely diced
2 jalapeño peppers, seeds and ribs removed, finely diced
1 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
2 limes, juiced
Kosher salt


Directions

Split all of the avocados, remove the pits, dice, and scoop them all into a large mixing bowl. Mash them only slightly, as they’ll get mixed up more later. Add the red onion and jalapeño to the avocado, and mix together. Continue by adding the chopped cilantro and lime juice, and mix again. Sprinkle everything with a layer of kosher salt, and taste. Add more salt if needed.
